WHAT WE DO
We are a team of innovative musicians taking instruments and putting them in the hands of marginalised and socially isolated communities. We work towards reducing isolation and improving mental health, connecting communities and building self esteem.

COVID UPDATE

WE ARE OFFICIALLY AMAZING!
Thomas Binns, founder of Music. Precribed. charity and The Guitar Social taught over 250 people over 24 hours (and six minutes) in an art Gallery in Canning Town. He raised over £30, 000 which will be spent on delivering free of charge tuition to vulnerable adults across 2019 and 2020 as well as gifting 200 guitars to people with physical disabilities, visual impairments and those suffering with ill mental health.
In collaboration with:

“The Guitar Social’s world record breaking attempt is all about spreading the joy of Music to communities that are forgotten in the arts world. Good luck, keep doing the good work.”
The Cure
“It is really important to make music accessible to all. This ground breaking World record guitar lesson attempt is a great initiative, and is a small stepping stone on the way to enabling visually impaired people to learning an instrument. Who knows there may be another Eric Clapton or Jimi Hendrix in the bunch.”
